"It will be clean!". 40 activists of the Republic of Tatarstan have been trained at the "Ecological University"
From February 28 to March 5, the republican online intensive "Ecological University" was held from the Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be clean!". The training was conducted by curators and coordinators of environmental associations of the Republic of Tatarstan. As part of the intensive, the participants got acquainted with current environmental issues, the activities of public inspectors, problems in the field of environmental protection. Activists of "It will be clean!", heads of organizations and departments and, of course, employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan (MENR RT) helped to understand the topic. Alexey Polyushkov, Head of the Department of the State Inspectorate of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, told the children about the rights and duties of public environmental inspectors. And he also answered the question of how to join the ranks of public inspectors. The data on the state of water and air in Tatarstan was shared with the participants by the head of the Environmental Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Artur Shakirzyanov.
A point-rating system operated throughout the intensive. Participants received points for completing tasks from speakers, as well as for attending classes online. On March 6, the results of the intensive were summed up and the names of the winners were announced.
