How the recultivation of the Samosyrov landfill is going on - representatives of environmental agencies got acquainted with the progress of the work
Today, Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor Denis Alexandrov and Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Egor Tarnavsky visited the objects included in the national project "Ecology". According to the federal project "Clean Country", land reclamation works are currently underway at the Samosyrovsky landfill. Contractor organization is LLC "Yadran-stroy". The work started last year and is being carried out in stages. "At the moment, the equipment is completing the formation of the slope and the embankment of the soil. The next stage is biological, now we are just getting ready to start it," a representative of the contracting organization said today. Everything is strictly on schedule, there are no delays. An important stage of reclamation will be the installation of an active degassing system. This will allow the extraction and processing of biogas into electricity. After the reclamation of the landfill, the quality of life will improve for every third resident of Kazan. The estimated cost of the events is 890 million rubles. According to the plan, the reclamation of the landfill should be completed at the end of 2023. Yegor Tarnavsky and Denis Alexandrov also got acquainted with the progress of work on the reclamation of silt fields of biological treatment facilities in Kazan. They are carried out within the framework of the federal project "Improvement of the Volga" in the area of "Elimination (reclamation) of objects of accumulated environmental damage that pose a threat to the Volga River" of the national project "Ecology" from 2021. This year, the formation of an anti-filtration curtain will be completed here, a protective screen will be installed and they will proceed to the technical stage of reclamation. The implementation period of the event is 2021-2024. After the completion of the work, the quality of life will improve for all residents of the capital of Tatarstan.
