Tatarstan entered the TOP 10 regions of Russia in the RAEX-Europe 2021 ESG ranking
For the third year in a row, the European rating agency RAEX-Europe has compiled a unique ESG rating of Russian regions, which allows assessing environmental and social risks, as well as the quality of public administration. The agency's analysts evaluate the activities of companies based on indicators that reflect three main blocks: Environment — environmental impact, Social — personnel and local communities, and Governance — information disclosure and management. The ESG rating is based on the principle of combining the level of risk exposure and assessing the effectiveness of its leveling.
The agency presented an updated ranking, which covers 155 Russian companies from 24 different industries and sectors of the economy. The Republic of Tatarstan is on the 4th place in this list.
