The environmental results with retailers of the republic were summed up
Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the participation of Ecology Minister Alexander Shadrikov, held a meeting with representatives of large retail chains and organizations, where they talked about environmental education. In particular, they summed up the results of the year on the implementation of joint projects with the shopping center "Mega Kazan", "Leroy Merlin", "Lenta", "Verny", LLC "Duracell Russia", PJSC "Sberbank", PJSC "AK BARS" Bank, RGO in the Republic of Tatarstan and the youth movement "It will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, the head of the Department of Information Systems and Environmental Education, Damir Valiullin, spoke about the environmental education activities of the Ministry. "One of the important achievements of 2021 was the victory of the Republic of Tatarstan in the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia". More than 276 thousand Tatarstan citizens took part in it. 10 thousand km of coastlines have been cleared, 37.6 thousand cubic meters of garbage have been collected," Valiullin noted. He also added that at the beginning of the year, together with the Mega Kazan shopping center, Leroy Merlin and the INNOKAM Association, a new competition for separate waste collection in dormitories of higher educational institutions "Rules of Division" was organized, according to the results of which 1 ton of recyclables was sorted. Damir Valiullin also noted the work carried out jointly with partners in the face of the youth environmental movement "It will be Clean" and the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Geographical Society.
