Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov presented the medal "100 years of formation of the TASSR" and thanked the Honored geologist of Russia and Tatarstan for his long-term and fruitful work. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Ecology. Let us recall that Evgeny Mikhailovich Aksenov is an honorary mineral prospector, academician of the Academy of Mining Sciences, corresponding member of the International Academy of Mineral Resources, chief scientific consultant of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, he is also a doctor of geological and mineralogical Sciences, chairman of the Scientific Council of "Tsniigeolnerud" . Under his leadership, an assessment of the mineral resource potential of the subsoil of the USSR and the Russian Federation for non-metallic minerals was carried out, the predicted prospects of certain ore regions of the CIS for industrial minerals were confirmed. He became the editor of maps and the author of many works on the patterns of placement and formation of deposits of non-metallic raw materials. Author, co-author and editor of more than 170 scientific papers, including a number of monographs, atlases and maps.
