Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexander Shadrikov, took part in a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulating the modes of operation of reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade via videoconference. The meeting, organized by the Federal Agency for Water Resources, was also attended by representatives of JSC Tatenergo, Roshydromet, RAO UES of Russia, PJSC RusHydro, territorial bodies of Rosvodresurs and executive authorities of subjects geographically bordering the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade.
The issues of establishing the operating modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade for the period from December 11, 2021 to January 20, 2022 were discussed at the meeting.
Rosvodresursy submitted for consideration the estimated modes of operation of reservoirs for the upcoming period. It was proposed to leave the operating mode of the Kuibyshev reservoir unchanged: the average discharge costs for the period were 4.400 cubic meters/s.
Taking into account the increase in the useful inflow to the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade since November, the level of the Kuibyshev reservoir, according to forecast calculations, in December - January will be maintained at a level close to 50.0 m in the Baltic system. Alexander Shadrikov supported the proposed regimes.
Following the meeting, the approved modes of operation of reservoirs will be published on the Rosvodresurs website (https://voda.gov.ru/activities/list.php?part=37 ). The next meeting of the IWG is scheduled for January 2022.
