A training seminar on combating corruption was held at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by the First Deputy Minister – Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection Ayrat Shigapov, held a seminar on the settlement of conflicts of interest in the civil service, compliance with prohibitions, restrictions and performance of official duties established in order to combat corruption. The event was timed to coincide with the International Anti-Corruption Day, which is celebrated annually on December 9 at the initiative of the United Nations. The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on Anti-corruption Policy Rustam Gayazov, Deputy Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor Olga Melnik took part in it. The rules for providing information on income, expenses, property and property obligations of public civil servants, as well as the most common violations and errors made when filling out certificates and when resolving conflicts of interest in the public civil service are considered.

Employees of all territorial departments of the Ministry also participated in the event via videoconference.
