The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation puts forward the initiative on conducting National Campaign called "Zero Negative Environmental Impact "

In the framework of the Year of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation put forward the initiative on conducting events dedicated to the International Environmental Protection Day on 5 June 2013.
The campaign called "Zero Negative Environmental Impact " aims to show the public environmentally responsible approach of enterprises, particularly in matters of negative impact on the environment and solicitous attitude to natural resources of Russia.
The essence of the campaign lies in the voluntary temporary suspension of activities causing negative environmental impact by the enterprises (legal entities and individual entrepreneurs) provided that such suspension is acceptable in the production cycle.
Various environmental events may also be arranged on the territories of the enterprises during the campaign, including vegetation works, cleaning, topical seminars.
The Campaign will be held in all regions from 9 to 11 a.m. local time. Enterprises, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are entitled to take part in it and show personal involvement in preservation of environment and natural resources of Russia. Active participants will be marked by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.
