An emergency fuel spill was discovered by environmentalists in Nizhnekamsk
The Zakamsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received a message about a fuel spill on the Southern Highway through the "Single Duty Dispatch Service". The inspectors of the Zakamsky TA together with the staff of the Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control promptly went to the place. During the survey of the territory, it was found that a diesel fuel spill occurred in the industrial zone as a result of a collision between two heavy trucks (KAMAZ and a Scania tanker). The total area of contamination was 180 sq.m., about 3 tons of combustible fuel were spilled. SIAC specialists have taken soil samples.
Based on the results of the analysis, administrative response measures will be taken to eliminate the consequences of an emergency spill of petroleum products. The perpetrators will be brought to justice.
