The Naberezhnye Chelny enterprise was punished for air pollution

The malfunction of the gas cleaning plant (GOU) was revealed by inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan using the information system "People's Control". Residents of Naberezhnye Chelny complained of dust and smoke. Environmentalists went to the place and found that the source of atmospheric air pollution is an enterprise engaged in the production of special equipment. The salvo release of harmful substances occurred as a result of leaky connections and contamination of the GO filter.

In respect of a legal entity, a protocol has been drawn up under Part 3 of Article 8.21 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of the rules of operation, non-use of facilities, equipment or equipment for gas purification and control of emissions of harmful substances into the atmospheric air that may lead to its contamination, or the use of faulty specified structures, equipment or equipment". A fine has been imposed. According to the inspectors, the company needs to modernize the installation of gas cleaning equipment.
