ASI for the promotion of new projects launched the selection of public representatives in the new direction "Ecology and climate"
Ecology and Climate is one of the key areas of the agency's work, which implements initiatives and projects aimed at preserving the environment, reducing the carbon footprint and emissions of polluting emissions, adapting to climate change, improving the efficiency of energy and resources use, as well as preventing the loss of biodiversity and ecosystem functions for the implementation of the goals of "sustainable development" of regions.
The open selection of public representatives takes place in all subjects of the Russian Federation and is aimed at identifying leaders with proven entrepreneurial or managerial experience or experience of public activity in the field of the environmental agenda, who could become representatives of the agency in the region. The agency delegates the powers of its representative to each winner of the open selection. The activities of public representatives will be carried out with the full support of the agency in the interests of the region.
Public representatives in the field of Ecology and Climate in the regions will have to:
- participate in the development of the strategy for the implementation of the agency's initiatives;
- promote leadership projects and support the implementation of agency initiatives;
- to seek and consolidate the best regional practices in the field of sustainable development that meet the goals and objectives of the agency's activities;
- develop proposals for updating regulation, measures to overcome legislative and administrative barriers in the implementation of projects and initiatives, as well as measures to support entrepreneurial and public initiatives;
- interact with regional authorities, territorial bodies of federal executive authorities, business associations and regional branches of all-Russian public associations, development institutions, the expert community and representatives of the third sector for the purposes of implementing the agency's initiatives;
- coordinate the work of the agency's regional expert groups;
- perform other functions within which the agency's tasks are solved.
