Eco-initiatives of enterprises. Bashneft replenished bioresources in Tatarstan
About 105 thousand sterlet fry were released into the Kuibyshev and Nizhnekamsk reservoirs by employees of Bashneft-Dobycha, OOO.
During September, the company executed stocking of fish three times, thereby replenishing the aquatic bioresources of the Kuibyshev reservoir by 102 thousand juveniles. The event was held in Kazan and in the Laishevsky district near the village of Staraya Pristan.
In addition, in Naberezhnye Chelny, oil workers increased the population of valuable fish species in the Nizhnekamsk reservoir by more than 3 thousand individuals.
The replenishment of the sterlet population carried out this year was a continuation of the environmental initiative of the past year. Then Bashkir oilmen released about 150 thousand fingerlings into the reservoirs of the regions where they conduct their production activities. In Tatarstan, the company produces oil on the territory of the Bavli and Yutazinsky districts.
This year, the company does not intend to limit itself exclusively to the release of sterlet. The plans for October include the release of carp fry. More than 8.1 thousand fry of this species will be released into the Nizhnekamsk reservoir in the coming days.
