The meeting of the republic's leadership with Alexander Kozlov took place in Moscow
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov met with the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Alexander Kozlov during a working trip to Moscow. One of the key issues of the meeting concerned the inclusion of projects in the Federal Scientific and Technical Program in the field of environmental development and climate change. In particular, they talked about a project product with a set of proposals in the field of "Ecology of industrial cities", according to the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation.
Alexander Kozlov noted that the activities of the federal scientific and technical program will be considered at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council for the Implementation of the Federal research and technology program. It is planned that the meeting will be held in mid-October. If approved, those activities will be submitted for discussion by the Council for Science under the President of Russia.
The parties also touched upon the regulation of the Kuibyshev reservoir. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, in order to prevent the undesirable consequences of deep shallowing, it is necessary to reduce the discharge costs through the Zhiguli hydroengineering complex. The head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation said that by the decision of the interdepartmental working group on regulating the operating modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade, the operating mode of hydraulic units will be established until October 10 with a reduction in escapage discharges from 5300 to 4700+100 m3/s.
The issue of liquidation of objects of accumulated damage on the territory of the republic was also discussed at the meeting. "Within the framework of the federal project "Clean Country", two of the most dangerous objects have already been eliminated in Tatarstan, the support of the federal budget amounted to more than 510 million rubles. And by the end of the year, the work will be completed at two more landfills - "Menzelinsk" and "Prosti", - said Alexander Kozlov.
