The VIII open Republican Conference of research and design pieces of work n.a. S.F. Morozov was held in Bugulma. Pupils of 2-5th forms of secondary educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan submitted their research and design pieces of work to jury’s consideration in the categories “Ecology”, “Ecological projects”, and “Eco-fashion”. Fellow workers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case for illegal quarry development. The fact of unauthorized extraction of common mineral resources near the village Otary was revealed by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan last November. The auctions for the right to use local subsoil resources of the Republic of Tatarstan were held at the Ministry of Ecology with regard to the following sites of subsoil resources:

a site of subsoil resources “Shentalinskoe” in Alekseevskoe municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan for the purposes of geological survey, exploration and production of sand-and-gravel rock;

a site of subsoil resources “Arkharovskoe” 

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation approved of the first list of sites of subsurface resources offered in 2016 for the geological prospecting. The full list includes 18 sites in the regions of the Russian Federation in the category Д1 – about 500 million tons, resources in the category C3 – about 35 million tons. A site with estimated oil resources in the categoryД1 – 33.5 million tons is offered in Tatarstan.
