Last year, 1,796 landfills were marked on a single environmental map of the Republic of Tatarstan, 98% of which were liquidated. 1,354 notifications were received by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan through the People’s Control system, of which 679 in the Landfill category. The percentage of applications resolved in People’s Control was 97.4% based on the results of the reporting period - this is the highest result achieved among all departments of the republic.
