XXIV municipal scientific-practical conference of schoolchildren "Discovery" was held in Bugulma town. In the premises of the Secondary school No. 6, more than 200 participants gathered – pupils of grades 5-11. Schoolchildren were able to present the results of their research in 16 sections; on ecology and chemistry, 11 project works were presented at the conference.

On the Volga, near Zaimishche settlement of the Zelenodolskiy district of the Republic, another environmental action was held to prevent fish from freezing. The inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Department for the Republic of Tatarstan of the Middle-Volga Territorial Department of the Russian Fishery Agency took part in the campaign.

In order to improve environmental safety and resource conservation at the facilities of the refueling complex, all fuel stations of the republic should be equipped with systems for trapping and recovery of motor fuel vapor. A phased transition to environmentally friendly technologies is carried out in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan by 2020. In the framework of the second stage, 77 fuel stations are to be re-equipped this year, to date the transition has been made at 59 of them.

The other day a charity concert in support of homeless animals was held in Nizhnekamsk. The event was organized by activists of the Youth Ecological Movement of the Republic of Tatarstan “Will be clean” from Nizhnekamsk with support of the Center for Development of Volunteering in Nizhnekamsk.

We remind you that a one-time payment in the amount of 1.5 thousand rubles is paid for assistance in fixing violations of environmental legislation in Tatarstan. The payment is made upon confirmation of the fact of committing a violation of environmental legislation and bringing the perpetrator to administrative (criminal) responsibility within five days after the decision (sentence) enters into legal force.

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan upheld the decision of the Almetyevsk town court on conviction of a legal entity - Intermettrade OOO in an administrative offense, as provided for by article 8.7, part 2 of the RF Code.

From the beginning of the year, the Republican public environmental reception received 409 appeals. 20 of them - through the School Eco-patrol mobile application. According to the “People’s control” system, ecologists reviewed 89 calls, 116 notifications via WhatsApp, Telegram, Eco.signal, “Hotline” communication channels. 184 appeals were received at personal receptions of citizens and through the reception of the Ministry.

Respect for the environment, teaching the population to separate garbage collection - these and other issues were discussed today at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. A Meeting of the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan -  Aleksandr Shadrikov with the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Management and Ecology of Business Russia - Natalia Belyayeva and representatives of commercial organizations introducing eco-technology took place here. The parties discussed plans for implementation of the "Separate with us" program in Tatarstan.

How many collection points for spent chemical current sources will appear in Tatarstan and where they will be located. These and other issues regarding the implementation of a pilot project in the republic to create an integrated infrastructure for separate collection and accumulation of spent batteries were discussed today at a Working Meeting in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by representatives of republican ministries and departments, the executive committee of Kazan, the heads of the Grint, Limited Liability Company, and Managing Company “PZhKH” - regional operators in Tatarstan, as well as representatives of Durascell Russia Limited Liability Company.

Acquaintance with the nature of native land, excursions to nature reserves, meetings with environmentalists and acquaintance with like-minded people are waiting for young eco-activists at the festival “Young Naturalist”. The festival will be held from March 15 to March 17 in the Health and Educational Complex "Baytik" (Vysokogorskiy district, Krutushka settlement).
