ECO-enterprise: how associated petroleum gas is utilized at TatRITEKneft

Seven years ago, the law obliged oil-producing companies in Russia to utilize 95% of associated petroleum gas. The amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere was significantly reduced, and oil enterprises had to look for new, rational ways to use associated gas.

For RITEK OOO, which owns licenses for the right to use subsoil for prospecting, exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the territory of 10 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, increasing the level of associated petroleum gas utilization is one of the strategic priorities. A TatRITEKneft among the first territorial production enterprises reached the degree of utilization of associated petroleum gas in 97.7%.
