Today the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the ministries and departments, deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, bodies of Prosecutor General’s Office, higher education institutions, and public environmental organizations carries out the all-republican “Cleanliness Lesson” Campaign, devoted to the worldwide “Let’s Clear Away Our Planet from Garbage” Campaign, in all educational institutions of all municipal areas and city districts (in total these are about 1,700 schools).
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan will carry out the all-republican “Cleanliness Lesson” Campaign, devoted to the worldwide “Let's Clear Away Our Planet from Garbage” Campaign, in all educational institutions of all municipal areas and city districts on September 27.
The All-Russia Running Day “Cross-country of the Nations – 2012” took place in Kazan as well as in many other cities of the country on September 23. The staff of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the Minister Artem Sidorov took active part in the campaign.
September 22 is the International Car-Free Day. This tradition originated in France in 1998. That year people of about 20 cities gave their support to this day. It is amazing that already in 2001 more than 1 thousand cities from 35 countries of the world joined the campaign.
On September 15, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan arranged cleaning of the territory of Tinchurin public garden, Grebnoy Channel quay in Technicheskya street, and the lake located on the intersection of Yarullina and Vakhitova streets on the initiative of proponents of “Zeleny Patrul” movement in the framework of the campaign “Worldwide Cleaning: We’ll do!”. Moreover, local citizens and public organizations of Kazan City took part in the campaign as well.
Indoor soccer Competition was held in the Tozuche Sports Complex on 8, 15 and 16 June. 26 teams including 300 participants were involved into the tournament.
The award ceremony of the winners of “ECOLeader” and “Man and Nature” republican contests took place today at “Korston” Cultural and Entertainment Complex. The Prime Minister for the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Halikov, the Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for Economics, Investments and Entrepreneurship Marat Galeev, the Сhairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for Ecology, Environmental Management and Agrarian Issues Valery Vasilyev, the Vice-Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Rimma Ratnikova, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Ahmetov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov, the Minister for Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Burganov, the Head of the All-Russian Social Children Ecological Movement “The Green planet” (Moscow) Marina Medvedeva and others took part in the ceremony.
Solemn ceremony of awarding winners of the republican contests “ECOLeader” and “Man and Nature” will be held tomorrow at 10:00 at the hotel and shopping/entertainment complex “Korston – Kazan”.
On September 8, voluntary Saturday work supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was performed with the participation of proponents of the initiative group Zeleny Park, the Liga Dela project, the “Bloggers against rubbish” association, fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as local citizens involving cleaning and beautification of the Newlyweds Park territory.
