Voluntary Saturday work was performed in the Newlyweds Park

On September 8, voluntary Saturday work supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was performed with the participation of proponents of the initiative group Zeleny Park, the Liga Dela project, the “Bloggers against rubbish” association, fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as local citizens involving cleaning and beautification of the Newlyweds Park territory.

In the framework of the voluntary Saturday cleaning, dead wood and rubbish were removed from the Park territory. Moreover, 50 new street litter bins and benches were placed.

In the nearest future, proponents of noncommercial organizations plan to arrange arches featuring Park name and driveway access gates, as well as to renovate alleys.
