Unified Ecological Lesson was given at educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan

On May 15, a republican campaign “Unified Ecological Lesson” devoted to the International Day of Ecological Education was held at educational establishments of all the cities and districts of Tatarstan.
AtVolga-KamaTerritorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the lessons were given for the 7-8th graders of SchoolNo. 5 of Chistopol, at“Yulduzsky Secondary School” of Chistopol Municipal District, and at“Mokrokurnalinsky Secondary School” of Alekseevskoe Municipal District. Discussions were held with regard to ecology and environment. At the end of the lesson, a movie “Wildlife places” was shown.
Experts ofthe Trans-KamaTerritorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan along with teachers of the Children’s Environmental and Biological Centergave a “Unified Ecological Lesson” at secondary schools of Nizhnekamsk. During the lesson they were speaking about the state of land resources, about the problems of air pollution and the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan with production and consumption waste, as well as about the impact of the enterprises on the state of water resources, namelyrivers, lakes,water storage basins, and springs.
At theCis-KamaTerritorial Department,the republican ecological and educational campaignwas held in cooperation with the students of the Branch of Kazan (Volga) Federal Universityin Naberezhnye Chelny.
Junior and senior pupils were told about the necessity to preserve the environment. The main task of the experts and students was to create conditions urging the children to take greater care of the surrounding world of nature, as well as to promote ecological awareness and development of the ecological culture of children.
Inspectors of theSouth-EasternTerritorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan familiarized pupils of 2nd-11th forms of schools of Almetyevsk and Cheremshanwith the activity of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. Experts told about the work of the Ministry of Ecologyand about the impact of the environment on a person’s health.
In Buinsk,the Unified Ecological Lesson was held for the junior pupils. Inspectors ofthe Trans-VolgaTerritorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan along with experts of the specialized inspection for analytical control told the pupils about the interaction between man and nature. Ecological quizzes and contests were also held for the pupils. The Red Books were presented to the Secondary School.
In Bavly, Musyumovo, Aznakaevo and Yutazy,experts of thePriikskyTerritorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan gave the lessons for the pupils from 1st to 11th forms. Inspectors told about the activity of the Ministry and held a quiz on “Water. Air. Land”.
Inspectors of theNorthernTerritorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held educational quizzes, contests and tests for junior pupils.
During the lesson, the pupils were familiarized with the workof the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The pupils were presented with souvenirs from the Ministry;informative literature was given by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan to the school library.
“The Unified Ecological Lesson” mainly aimed at enhancement of the level of ecological knowledge of the younger generation, fostering of careful attitude of pupils towards nature of the motherland, development of environment-oriented mindset, support and development of the system of continuous ecological education and awareness in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
