Alexander Shadrikov: "The future belongs to you, namely, taking care of water, air and soil cleanness"

Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov held a lecture at the Institute of Ecology and Nature Management of the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.

"I am glad to meet the future generation of environmentalists. Today, the industry needs professionals. The future belongs to you, namely, taking care of water, air and soil cleanness on which the health and well-being of us depends," Alexander Shadrikov addressed the students.

During the meeting, the head of the environmental protection department told the children about the activities being implemented in the republic within the framework of the national project "Ecology", separately focused on the main activities and tasks of the Ministry.

The students asked the minister questions and received detailed answers. They were interested in such topics as the environmental situation in the republic, employment and practice in the department. "We are always open and ready to provide comprehensive support and assistance to students in terms of training young environmental professionals and motivate young people to achieve new success. Knowledge on ecology, of course, will always be in demand, useful and important to others," the minister said.

He also added that it is not necessary to study at the Faculty of Ecology in order to take an active part in the conservation of natural resources: "There must be a correct civic position, attitude and desire to improve the environmental situation of your city, district. Everything is in your hands," he summed up and invited students to take part in the Central Voluntary Clean-up, which will be held tomorrow, September 11 on the territory of the Lake Izumrudnoye (Yudino village).
