Starting from March 1, 2022, waste producers of hazard classes I and II, as well as operators engaged in the management of such waste in accordance with the legislation on licensing of certain types of activities, must enter data into the FGIS OPVC. From the same date, the provisions of Article 14.4 of the Federal Law "On Production and Consumption Waste" come into force, according to which individual entrepreneurs and legal entities, as a result of whose economic and other activities waste of hazard classes I and II is generated, will have to conclude contracts with the federal environmental operator for the provision of services for the management of waste of hazard classes I and II, or can handle such waste independently if there are objects of neutralization and disposal of waste of hazard classes I and II in their ownership or on another legal basis.
