Illegal fence near the Kichui River was dismantled in Almetyevsk

10 August 2021, Tuesday

The restriction of free access to the Kichui River by installing a metal fence made of mesh was revealed by inspectors of the South-Eastern TA of the Ministry in the village of Kichuchatov in the Almetyevsk district. During the survey, a fence of 10 m from the borders of the water body was recorded.

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the guilty person under Article 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Non-compliance with the conditions for ensuring free access of citizens to a public water body and its coastal strip". Currently, the fence has been dismantled.

Let us recall that the coastal strip should be accessible to anyone who wants to approach the water object. Land plots within the boundaries of the coastal strips of water bodies are not subject to privatization. The width of the coastal strip of public water bodies is 20 m, with the exception of the coastal strip of rivers and streams, the length of which from the source to the mouth is not more than 10 km. The width of the coastal strip of rivers and streams, the length of which from the source to the mouth is not more than 10 km, is 5 m. All fences on the coastal strip are illegal.
