We invite residents of Mendeleevsk to take part in the environmental holiday "It will be clean in Tatarstan!"
On August 7, an environmental holiday "It will be clean in Tatarstan!" will be held on the square in front of the Sergei Gassar Recreation Center in Mendeleevsk with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event is held within the framework of the received grant of the President of the Russian Federation.
During the holiday, residents of the republic will be able to get acquainted with the activities of public environmental associations, as well as with social projects implemented in the field of environmental education and nature protection. In addition, the event will feature interactive platforms of various formats – lectures, games and competitions. Educational master classes will introduce participants to such topical environmental topics as separate waste collection, environmental assessment of food products, construction of an environmental house, calculation of the human ecological footprint and environmental tourism. For creative participants, sites for drawing, designing eco-bags, making crafts from recycled materials and modeling from salted dough will be organized.
As part of the environmental holiday, guests will be able to hand over used batteries and waste paper, take part in collecting feed and other necessary things for animals from shelters. Also on the territory of the holiday there will be a presents fun-fair – an exchange of useful things that have lost their consumer value for their owner.
