New Inspectors Have Arrived

The ecological two-month campaign keeps going. Today meeting of new inspectors of territorial administrations of the Republic which arrived in Kazan for sanitary and ecological supervision intensification took place at the building of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Inspectors will reveal violators of environmental legislation as well as make an inventory of sites of unauthorized waste placement. The measures taken by the ministry for strengthening of the Central Territorial Administration resources will make it possible to get Kazan in a suitable sanitary and ecological condition in a relatively short time.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
