The issues of climate policy and decarbonization of the republic were discussed at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on climate policy and decarbonization of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Ecology - the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection Airat Shigapov and representatives of the authorities, enterprises of the republic and the scientific community.
During the working meeting, the issues of ongoing work on environmental protection, improving the environmental safety of existing production facilities were discussed. The topics of accounting for greenhouse gas emissions, the implementation of scientific projects and the development of new technologies in the field of monitoring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions were also touched upon.
