"Clean Air" special operation has been announced in Tatarstan until the end of September. The event is held to monitor compliance with the standards for the content of pollutants in the exhaust gases of motor vehicles and to prevent the negative impact of motor vehicles on the atmospheric air.
On the federal highway M7 – "Malinovka" traffic police post, inspectors of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, checked the exhaust gases of cars for the level of dangerous pollutants. During the raid, 54 cars were checked, of which 5 were found to have violations. For the operation of cars exceeding the standards for the content of pollutants in emissions, the perpetrators were brought to administrative responsibility under Article 8.23 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The amount of the fine is 500 rubles.
