Monitoring of atmospheric air in non-stop mode
In connection with the frequent complaints of citizens about the state of atmospheric air and taking into account the location of large industrial facilities, the Ministry decided to establish an automatic air pollution control station in the Aircraft Building District of Kazan. The control point is located on Maksimov Street.
"The automatic station is equipped with modern equipment for determining the main and specific pollutants and meteorological parameters. Monitoring data on the state of atmospheric air is updated on the server every 20-40 minutes, which will allow one to quickly respond to changes that are taking place," environmentalists report.
Let us recall that in the Republic of Tatarstan, AAPCS points are installed exclusively in territories where there is a direct influence of large enterprises, in order to respond in a timely manner and prevent damage to the environment. The observation network consists of 16 AAPCSs. 6 mobile laboratories are also used for rapid response to the facts of air deterioration.
According to the results of monitoring the state of atmospheric air, about 4 million measurements of pollutants in the air were carried out last year. As a result of the expansion of the ecological and analytical base at automatic observation posts, 250 thousand more measurements were carried out in 2020 than in 2019 (the list of detected substances (aromatic hydrocarbons) has increased. It should be noted that the ratio of detected exceedances to the total number of measurements made was 0.04%, whereas in 2019 this ratio was equal to 0.05%.
