Today within the framework of a sanitary and ecological two-month campaign, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan made a press raid to the Kirovsky district of the city of Kazan. The special attention was paid to the roadside territory along the Lagernaya station in Arkhangelskaya street. Inspectors worked at this site on April 16. The Administration of the Kirovsky and Moscovsky districts explain that it is up to the new owner of the territory, the construction company Briz JSC, to clear an unauthorized dump. Today the organization has already cleaned the majority of the territory; more than 150 cubes of construction waste have been already taken out. The rest hasn’t dried out yet, which makes work of heavy machinery difficult. It is planned to take waste away in the next few days. Representatives of the Department of public services and amenities of the Kirovsky and Moscovsky districts of the city of Kazan explain that the construction of wholesale warehouses is planned in the territory of Briz JSC, the rest of the territory will be fenced.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
