If You’ve Made a Family, Plant a Tree

6 May 2013, Monday
Since ancient times Russian people have had a tradition to plant trees on the wedding day. Newlyweds created a basis for their future happiness and family wellbeing. Nowadays this beautiful tradition with deep meaning is forgotten in our country. The staff of the Civil Status Registration Office of the Menzelinsk district decided to resurrect a good tradition of trees planting by newlyweds. Edward and Zarina Shakirovykhs were the first couple who planted a tree of love and happiness. We hope this tree will be a symbol of their long-term family life!
