Today within the framework of a two-month campaign carried out in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a press raid about the markets of the city of Kazan. Inspectors examined a sanitary and environmental state of the Cis-Volga and Moscow markets of the city. In the Cis-Volga area the staff of the Ministry found out a number of violations related to the organization of waste collecting and storage. Moreover, inspectors pointed out, that stalls and sales premises layout does not comply with environmental requirements and regulations. In this case, according to Article 3.6 of the Administrative Code, owners of the market have to pay a penalty at the rate of up to 500 thousand rubles. The question of the market work suspension for 90 days, according to Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, is now being considered.
Inspectors of the Central Territorial Department the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan did not find any waste in the Moscow market. Acts related to cars parking on a green zone were drawn up.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
