Little Miss Ecology

The republican festival of beauty and talents “Little Miss of Tatarstan 2013” took place in Kazan. Girls from 5 to 13 years took part in the beauty pageant.
Within the framework of the Year of environmental culture and protection in the Republic of Tatarstan, the nomination “Little Miss Ecology” was announced. Elizaveta Kalayda and Julia Grechneva became winners. Diplomas and memorable prizes were awarded by the Principal Advisor of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Elena Gilmizyanova. The campaign “Let’s Make Our World Better” was one of stages of the festival. Within its frames participants together with their relatives took part in the campaign related to cleaning of streets in the cities of the Republic of Tatarstan.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".

Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
