Results of the “Environmental Safety” Contest

Within the framework of the Year of environmental culture and protection in the Republic of Tatarstan the conference “Environmental Safety”, where the results of contest of the same name were summed up, took place in the Kamsk Children Medical Center of Naberezhnye Chelny of the Republic of Tatarstan. In March all structural subdivisions were checked regarding compliance with requirements related to medical waste management as well as sanitary, epidemiologic, and ecological regulations. Following the results of the contest, the best departments were defined in every structural subdivision. This year a bacteriological laboratory got the Challenge Cup. The contest is planned to be carried out annually. The results of the children's drawings contest “Environmental Safety” also were summed up at the conference.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".

Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
