Approving the Emblem of the Year of Environmental Protection in the Russian Federation

The contest related to creation of the emblem of the Year of environmental protection in the Russian Federation came to an end in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation. Denis Yezhov, Murom, the Vladimir region, became a winner. The emblem conveys an important meaning according to the contest winner. It means unity: in order to change an ecological situation in the country, it is necessary for all the citizens of our Homeland to join their forces. The outlines of Russia without division into regions and cities are depicted on the emblem. The globe is depicted as a circle. Everyone on the Earth has to take part in the fight against environmental problems. A sprout symbolizes environmental prosperity revival. A color scheme of the emblem uses the colors of the flag of the Russian Federation as well as green color symbolizing the nature and the germ of life.
Winners in the nominations also were determined: “The most official emblem” - Alexey Panko (St. Petersburg), “The most original emblem” - Olga Sharkova (the Altai Territory), “The most laconic emblem” - Denis Demenko (the Voronezh region), “The kindest emblem” - Ivan Moskvin (the Altai Territory).

Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
