15 April 2013, Monday
Today, various conferences, seminars, exhibitions, holidays, round tables and other events devoted to the environment-orientedand nature protectionmatters were held at higher educational establishments, schools, libraries and scientific institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan. The youngest friends of nature weren’t neglected either. Fellow workers of the department for promotion of ecologicalawareness andinteraction with public organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with cooperation of fellow workers ofa Zoological and Botanical Garden gave a touron Kazan Zoological and Botanical Garden for the children of the “School of Young Environmental Specialist”. Study of theenvironment and its components — flora and fauna — will help a child look at nature differently. The knowledge of regularities of its development will help care more for the environment. In such a way, the power of observation and inquisitiveness are developed in a child along with shaping of the aesthetic perception of the outside world.
