One Man, No Man

Within the framework of the Year of environmental culture and protection the highest possible attention will be paid to the purity and order of the capital of the republic. Ilham Sabirov, the Chief of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported about it at the meeting with representatives of Kazan public organizations.
Representatives of the “Green Country” and “Help Another” organizations discussed organizational issues regarding preparation for carrying out of a sanitary and ecological two-month campaign on cleaning of cities and regions of the Republic of Tatarstan. Three campaigns engaging pupils, students, and representatives of various organizations are planned to be carried out in the city. Participants will reveal and put in order the most polluted sites of the city.
The territory of Kazan will be divided into 69 sectors and distributed between 16 groups of inspectors of territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. These groups of inspectors will go into raids about city streets and yards every day. Ilham Sabirov hoped for active cooperation: “One man, no man. Your help is of great importance as supervisory authorities will not be able to keep city streets clean alone”.
Moreover, in the course of the meeting Vladislav Yuranets, the Head of the Department of Informational and Analytical Activity of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, told about the service of the “National Monitoring” GIS and appealed not to be indifferent and to file an application in case of dumps revealing. It is possible to call on the hot line of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan: 267-68-87. In December the most active user of the “National Monitoring” service will be awarded with the special nomination of the competition “Eco-Leader”.
