A meeting with representatives of the Ros Roca Group/INDOX

The options of cooperation in the line of sorting and collection of household waste, use of gas-engine oil for the purposes of fueling of public transportation, trucks and agricultural equipment were discussed today during the meeting between the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of the company Ros Roca Group/INDOX (Spain). In particular, the project on implementation of pneumatic transport systems for collection and removal of household waste was discussed. First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov noted that positive effect regarding implementation of the indicated system is an interesting aspect for the Republic of Tatarstan when it comes to arrangement and carrying out of separate collection of household waste in large-sized centers of the Republic and in the framework of such projects as “Innopolis”, “Smart-City” that are of great importance to the Republic of Tatarstan.
The intention to reduce the impact of motor transport on the environment is also relevant for Tatarstan, as noted Rustem Kamalov. Transfer of the motor transport to liquefied natural gas is one of the effective ways to solve the problem. It is thought that the transport can be transferred to the natural-gas-based motor fuel in the framework of a pilot project for heavy transporters and agricultural equipment “New Holland”, produced by OAO KAMAZ. Equipment and technologies supplied by a Spanish company in the field of use of liquefied natural gas for car fueling will definitely allow to reduce negative impact of the motor transport on the air condition in populated localities of the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to good tradition, the Ministry of Ecology hosted a New Year's tree for the children of the department's employees.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
