The day before the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan got information on the lake pollution in Tekhnicheskaya Street. The on-site survey confirmed the fact of water pollution and fish kill. The Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant has an output into a recirculated line out of where a liquid of white and green color of an unknown origin leaked away. Representatives of state supervisory authorities including the Central Specialized Inspectorate of Analytical Monitoring, the Kazan Interdistrict Nature Protection Prosecutor's Office, the Administration of the Federal Service for Oversight of Natural Resource Use for the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Sixth Nature Protection Investigation Department of the Volga Interregional Nature Protection Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, were invited to the site of the incident as a matter of urgency. Water samples were taken both in the territory of the enterprise and at the discharge point of Lake Kaban. Investigative actions are being carried out now. Water samples have been sent to the laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The materials on the above mentioned violation have been sent to the Kazan Interdistrict Nature Protection Prosecutor's Office.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
