Environmental Humor Contest (KVN) Took Place in the Apastovo Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan

The competition “Yäşlär sulışı” (The Breath of the Youth) took place in the Apastovо municipal region of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is an annual youth competition which this time was devoted to the Year of environmental culture and protection in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Center of Children’s Crafts “Sälät (Ability)”, Executive Committee and Department of Education of Apastovo Municipal District were the organizers of the contest. Experts of Trans-Volga Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took an active part in the event and constituted thejury.

Three teams from Karatunskaya, Srednebaltaevskaya and Satlamyshevskaya secondary schools competed for the medal place. The competition was held in the form of Humor Contestand included 4 stages:

1. Greeting“Opening the book of nature”. The pupils were given 4-5 minutes in order to introduce their ecological teams.

2. Triathlon. Each team was to prepare six jokes related to ecology and environment.

3. Student theater of pop sketches “Ecology is…”.Team members tried to stand out by giving the most interesting definition of “ecology”.

4. Homework. “My village isa flower garden. Don’t let it fade away”. The best project aimed at the environment state enhancement and beautification of the motherland.

All tasks were evaluated by the juryon a 5-point grading scale. Pupils of Srednebaltaevskaya secondary school were acknowledged the best ecological team.
