Stocking in the Otary village in Kazan took place today under the control of a commission consisting of specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Middle Volga Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fishery and specialists from the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for biological resources.
Aleksey Chinarev, Head of the Subsoil Use Licensing Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted that compensation measures for stocking fish were carried out annually. At the moment, since the beginning of 2020, the damage to the biological resources of the Republic of Tatarstan has been compensated for the total amount of 10,625,625 rubles, with 144 789 sterlets and 102 753 carps.
