Familiarization of the Heads of the Ministries and the Departments of the Subjects of the Volga Federal District with the nature protection activities in Tatarstan

The meeting of the Heads of the Ministries and the departments of the subjects of the Volga Federal District with Sergey Donskoy, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, took place in IT-park.
They visited the exhibition of environmental activity of the largest enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. Guests were told about new solutions in the sphere of informational technologies implementation, about environmental education, about the system of the “Ecologic Map of the Republic of Tatarstan” GIS and about the “National Monitoring” GIS, which helps to fight efficiently against unauthorized dumps and other violations of the environmental legislation in Tatarstan.
Then the Heads of the Ministries and the Departments of the subjects of the Volga Federal District headed by Rustem Kamalov, the First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Universiade village. The village is one of the key objects of the Universiade of 2013 and the place of residence of athletes and delegations heads for the time of the Universiade.
The guests got acquainted with the new system of waste collecting. In the territory of the village FAUN garbage trucks demonstrated loading of 8-cube bunkers and garbage containers. The delegation also visited the IT-lyceum where pupils presented their projects and shared their ideas concerning environmental protection.
Special-purpose equipment used for environmental monitoring was demonstrated to the guests too. The delegation also familiarized with the work of mobile and stationary posts of air pollution monitoring.

According to good tradition, the Ministry of Ecology hosted a New Year's tree for the children of the department's employees.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
