On Sunday, February 10, the open All-Russian mass ski run “Ski Trail of Russia — 2013” was held. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan also participated in the mass run. More than 50 fellow workers of the Ministry were skiing together with the members of their families.
This is the most large-scale ski trail that has been held every year since 1982. For the country citizens it became the winter sports festival. This year “Ski Trail of Russia — 2013” was held for the 31st time. In Kazan it was devoted to the Universiade 2013 and the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi. About 22 thousand citizens of Tatarstan took part in the ski trail.
Popularity of the “Ski Trail of Russia” among the citizens of Tatarstan is also supported by the fact that each year the amount of participants increases. Besides participants registered on behalf of establishments, organizations, companies and educational institutions, amateurs of active rest and healthy life style also came to the starting line.
The sport program of competitions ended with cultural and recreational activities, tight-knit tea-party and various contests organized for the participants of the marathon. Smiling and happy faces of participants were the greatest record of the most large-scale ski run “The Ski trail of Russia”.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
