Results of the Meeting of the Commission on Mineral Resources

The meeting of the Commission on mineral resources headed by Timur Akchurin, the Vice-Chairman of RKZ, the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on subsurface management, took place in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. The results of the state expertise on the explored mineral resources were considered in the course of the meeting.
Experts did works on geological survey and prospecting of Gabishevo sand deposit for construction purposes in the Laishevo municipal area of the Republic of Tatarstan, investigation of the northeastern side of the Kuyuk limestone deposit in the Sabinsky municipal area as well as exploration of the sand deposit for construction works on the Bogatye Sabiny site of the same area. The report on the exploration of the sand-and-gravel deposit “Zelenoostrovskoe” within the interval of 1,705.2-1,709.9 km of the navigation pass of the Kama River, the prospecting of the northern site of the Dym-Tamak sand-and-gravel deposit for road construction in the Yutazinsky area of the republic was provided at the meeting. Geological survey and prospecting also took place on the Bagryazh subsoil limestone area for road construction in Almetyevsk region of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Issues concerning explanatory notes to resources discarding of the Bersut sand-and-gravel deposit with the “Bakaleya” enterprise being its subsoil user were discussed at the meeting too. Due to the decision of the Arbitration Court of Appeal on its exploitation ban, the deposit was deducted from the enterprise balance and transferred to the state unallocated subsoil reserve fund.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
