Another trial in the case of “OPU-30” ended in victory for environmentalists

Let us recall that during a scheduled inspection in November last year environmentalists revealed a two-fold excess of phenol in the soil on the territory of the enterprise. The area of contamination was 185 square meters, for which OPU-30 was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 8.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The Almetyevsk City Court and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan upheld the sentence imposed.

The damage caused by the dumping of construction waste in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan has been forcibly compensated. Let us recall that the violation was revealed by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan in July last year.
