2 hectare landfill was found by environmentalists in Cheremshan

The landfill was identified by inspectors from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, in 300 meters from the already inactive landfill in the Cheremshan village. On the territory of 2 hectares, solid municipal waste, trimming branches, furniture, trade and construction waste that lost consumer properties were stored. During the survey, inspectors seized sales checks, price tags, contracts indicating the names and addresses of enterprises. Now environmentalists have begun administrative proceedings against individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. For violation of environmental legislation regarding the treatment of production and consumption waste, violators will be held administratively liable under Part 1 of Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
