A briefing on creation in the republic of a state nature reserve of regional significance for the landscape profile “Volzhskiye prostory” was held today in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was timed to World Wetlands Day.
The area of the “Volzhskiye prostory” reserve is 29 thousand hectares. And it is located on the territory of 3 municipal districts - Laishevskiy, Verkhneuslonskiy, Zelenodolskiy - and the city of Kazan.
Great attention is paid to the state of the Volga river in the country, including in the framework of the national project “Ecology”. So, for 2020 and 2021–2022, the Republic of Tatarstan provides for 6,369.9 million rubles, including the budget of the Russian Federation - 5,159.6 million rubles.
