Meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Environmental Safety, Nature Management and Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare in the Republic of Tatarstan

The meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Environmental Safety, Nature Management and Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare in the Republic of Tatarstan chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ravil Muratov took place in the form of a videoconference in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The meeting was attended by the members of the Interdepartmental Commission on Environmental Safety, Nature Management and Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare in the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of law enforcement bodies, Executive Board of Kazan, heads of structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Through videoconference, the meeting was also attended on-site by the heads and senior officers of executive boards of municipal districts and urban districts.
The Deputy Minister for Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Karimov made a presentation on Creation of Complex Waste Management System for Production and Consumption Wastes in Tatarstan.
The head of the Fauna Protection and Management Agency Dmitry Ivanov made a speech about improving efficiency of protection of water biological resources in Tatarstan.
The work results of the Interdepartmental Commission on Environmental Safety, Nature Management and Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare in the Republic of Tatarstan and proposals on working plan until the end of 2013 and for 2013 were described by The First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for environmental protection Rustem Kamalov.
In his speech, he noted that the issues of environmental education, sanitary and ecological condition of the territory of Tatarstan and rational nature management are currently of primary concern. In this regard, the performance of the Interdepartmental Commission, its status and the level of interdepartmental cooperation should be further enhanced.
