The Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Sergey Donskoy visits Kazan

Within the framework of his visit to Kazan, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources has held meeting in the government house with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. On the part of Tatarstan, the meeting was also attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Artem Sidorov, Chief Executive of OAO Tatneft Shafagat Takhautdinov, Aide to the President of Tatarstan Rinat Sabirov and others. The participants discussed the issues of environmental protection, reducing adverse impacts on environment using modern technologies, subsurface resources management etc.

Later, Sergey Donskoy was shown the presentation of Kazan IT-Park and E-government project, particularly, the operation of the unified State Ecological Monitoring and Illegal Waste Disposal Sites Monitoring geoinformation systems and the Popular Control system.
