Criminal investigation of illegal sand mining is underway in Kazan

A criminal case was instituted on the fact of theft of mineral resources in Privolzhskiy district of Kazan. Along Poperechno-Otarskaya street, an unknown person mined common minerals (sand). Let us recall that the violation was recorded by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in September this year. As a result of illegal actions, 253 cubic meters of resources were stolen. Criminal proceedings are underway under Part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”.
