Results of the Republican Environment-Oriented Campaign “From Father to Son”

Last Saturday, the campaign of trees planting “From Father to Son” was arranged on the territory of maternity hospitals and children’s hospitals of Kazan, Zelenodolsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, and Almetyevsk by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.


Future parents and parents whose children are under the patronage of maternity hospitals and children's hospitals took part in the campaign. More than 1000 bushes, coniferous and broadleaved species of trees were planted on the territory of health care establishments.


All maternity hospitals of Kazan were involved in the campaign “From Father to Son” held in the city. In such a way, for instance, young parents, fellow workers of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan led by the Head of the Central Territorial Department Ilkham Sabirov and representatives of the party “Edinaya Rossiya” (United Russia) planted ornamental breeds of forest trees, as well as mountain ashes on the territory of the Perinatal Centre of the Republican Clinical Hospital.


In the Cis-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the campaign “From Father to Son” was held with the participation of the Head of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department Ayrat Nasybullin and the Head of the Public Health Department of Naberezhnye Chelny Ilnur Sharafutdinov. All in all, 110 people were engaged in the campaign, and 100 trees were planted.


In Almetyevsk, the campaign was held on the territory of Almetyevsk Municipal Maternity Home, where 46 fathers-to-be planted mountain ashes and fur-trees. The Head of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Nizamov took part in the campaign “From Father to Son”, too. It was decided to name a new public garden symbolizing the course of life and continuity of generations accordingly — “From Father to Son”.


Fellow workers of Trans-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the State Establishment “Nizhnekamskles” planted 50 mountain ashes, fur-trees and acacias. The Head of Trans-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Zaynullin, representatives of Nizhnekamsk Executive Committee and Nizhnekamsk Municipal District, and Chief of maternity home also took part in the campaign. Anyone who felt like it, could plant a tree: parents-to-be, as well as parents, whose children are at the maternity home or at the children’s hospital.
